I had a similar experience with my wife. I accidentally opened a bill that came in the mail and it was for her being fitted with a diaphragm... but of course I have had a vasectomy years ago and she doesn't need it with me. When I confronted her I got no answers, she just got crazy angry that I opened her mail.
